Teaching styles and technology need to improve as research indicates. Since I'm a private educator it's a little easier for me. Attending Conventions and Conferences is a MUST in my music field, I do every year.

I'm in Austin, too. Are you currently playing with any bands around town? Where might I have seen you perform? I'm doing a lot of musical theater this summer and usually play with somebody at the Elephant Room - Tony Campise big band, Acoustic Mayhem, Beto y los Fairlanes, etc. - at least once a month.
