Your Childs Learning Style Versus The Teachers Teaching Style

For the past seventeen years I have been developing and using the ICS-Connect Program to help adults learn “When communicating with someone, how to keep that person connected long enough to raise the level of trust where they are willing to let you influence them”

Hi Dick...yes, that's me. See that you are in Houston and do coaching; my sister Jill is likewise, besides running our Houston office.

Thanks for the note! I'm looking forward to getting to know more people in this network, and your welcome gives me an excuse to check out other people's pages. Where in MN are you originally from? I'm in S. Maplewood on the east side of St. Paul.

Hey Dick--- It's kinda far from North Pole, Alaska down to Houston, Texas. So I won't be making the trip! :-) You don't need anything from me do you?

You know that Maria's motto was: Follow the child. That fits directly with learning styles.

Let me know how it went---or sooner if you need anything.

Dick, I'm curious about your research concerning learning styles. Please keep me posted. I teach qualitative research methods to mostly Montessori teachers on-line in different parts of the world, so it definitely piqued my interest.

Thanks, Dick

Interesting you should use the word "insights". INSIGHTS is a Jungian psychographic model that maps learning styles. Back in my Fortune 100 sales days, we used it to tailor marketing messages. Marketing is really about communicating and teaching. It was a great way to learn how to step out of my learning/teaching style and into the style that would best work for the student or client I was targeting.
